Privacy

keep64 is a game diary, run as a personal non-commercial project. It is still being built and is not open to public sign-up. This page is a summary of what the site actually stores today; a full privacy policy will replace it before sign-ups open to anyone.

What is stored

Your email address and a hashed password, held by Supabase, our database and authentication provider. A username, and any profile details you choose to add. The games you log, along with any ratings, reviews, tags, playtimes and dates you attach to them. Lists you make, accounts you follow, and an avatar if you upload one.

What is public

Assume everything except your email address is visible to anyone who visits the site, including people who are not signed in. Profiles, logs, ratings, reviews and avatars are all public, and there is currently no setting to make them private. Lists are the one exception — they can be marked private. A per-log privacy control is planned, and this page will say so plainly when it exists.

Who else receives data

Supabase stores the database, accounts and uploaded avatars. Vercel hosts the site and receives ordinary web-server request data. Vercel Speed Insights collects anonymous page-performance measurements, and it is the only analytics on the site — there is no Google Analytics, no advertising and no tracking across other sites. Game covers are loaded from IGDB’s image servers, so your browser requests images from them directly; no information about you is sent to IGDB.

Cookies

One cookie, which keeps you signed in. Your light or dark theme choice is stored in your own browser and never sent to us. There is no consent banner because there is nothing here to consent to: no advertising, analytics or third-party cookies are set.

Getting your data removed

Deleting your own account from within the site is not built yet. Until it is, email hello@keep64.example and your account and everything attached to it will be deleted by hand. The same address works for asking what is stored about you, or for anything else on this page.
